frequently asked questions
How far do Rogers Blinds travel for a home survey?
We cover the full Cornwall and Devon region from our Saltash base — approximately 60 miles in each direction, taking in locations from Exeter in the east to beyond Truro in the west, and from Rock and Padstow on the north coast to Salcombe on the south. For commercial projects, we travel further throughout the South West. There is no travel charge for any home survey within our standard service area.
Is the home measuring service really free with no obligation?
Yes. Our home survey is completely free — there is no charge regardless of whether you decide to proceed with an order. We believe in earning your business through quality advice and honest pricing, not by putting you under pressure.
Do you serve rural properties and smaller villages across Cornwall and Devon?
Absolutely. Many of our best customers are in rural Cornwall and Devon. Farmhouses, barn conversions, and coastal cottages often need the most careful approach to window coverings, and our made to measure service is perfectly suited to irregular or non standard windows common in older rural buildings.
Can you fit blinds and awnings to listed buildings?
We have extensive experience working with listed properties across Cornwall and Devon. We always advise on the most appropriate fixings, materials, and methods for heritage buildings. In some cases we can advise on whether planning consent may be required for external awnings on listed buildings.
Do you offer commercial as well as domestic services across all areas?
Yes. We work with restaurants, hotels, holiday lets, offices, schools, and retail premises across Cornwall and Devon. Commercial clients receive contract pricing, flexible installation scheduling, and dedicated project management.
How soon can you survey my home after I make an enquiry?
For homes close to our Saltash base, including Saltash itself, Torpoint, Liskeard, and Plymouth, we can often offer same week appointments. For properties further afield in Devon or west Cornwall, typical wait time is one to two weeks. Contact us and we'll give you an accurate timeframe for your location.
ready to transform your home?
Book your free home survey with no obligation. We'll visit at a time that suits you, measure every window, show you samples, and provide a full written quotation, with no pressure to buy.
